Goosh takes the letter “A” and pops it into the CD player. Then fiddles with the buttons and exclaims in astonishment – “Mooshik?! mooshik?!?!” wondering why there’s no music. A bewildered Mommy asks “kya hua baby”. He points “AB CD andar. Mooshik?” [i put in the ab CD. why is there no music?]
Been a really really long time and I miss you gals! Thanks everyone for writing in and keeping track of me while I dropped off the blogosphere.
My course at IIMB got over. It was AMAZZZING. I’ve been meaning to write about it but…
Goosh started playschool. An hour a day for 10 days. And now it’s upto 2.5 hrs. So far so good. He’s loving it 🙂 Proof of the pudding – every so often he’ll pick up his bag, wave bye-bye and go stand by the door “Shkool. Schkoool.”
This evening, he smartly poured milk from his cup, into mine. And tea from my cup to his. A clear message – I want tea, not milk. And to top it, he clanged his cup to mine with a loud “Cheeers”! For the life of me I still havent figured out where he learnt “cheers” from!
When I went away the lil fellow was barely talking. Just a few basic words. Every weekend when I came back home, it felt like I’d been away forever. I felt he’d grown inches taller and years wiser.
Now, just 2 months on, he’s talking non-stop. He knows much more than we taught him. And I wonder how. I’m amazed.
He’s a little baby no more. He’s his own person. With a mind of his own.
