2 days ago, Goosh started saying the magic word.
The first time around, I didnt even notice. I gave him some water, and he pushed it away with a quite ‘nananana’. I thought he was saying ‘Nana’, in response to all the coaxing while talking to his ‘nana’ just a few minutes ago.
A little while later, there it was again. ‘na’, ‘nai’ when I tried to feed him.
After that there’s been no looking back. Kiddo’s learnt the magic word 😦 For anything that he doesnt want to do, he lets out a firm and confident no, na, naeee, neee!!
I’d drawn a few flowers on Goosh’s wall, and every so often, i’d point at them and tell him “Flowwwwer”.
Saturday I took him down to the park, and the lil fellow starts off all excited “vowwwa“, “vouuwwa“. He’d seen these small purple flowers!!! Much prettier from the plain orange n red flowers I’d drawn!
One proud Mamma I am!!
Thrilled and sad at the same time. Thrilled that my baby is now all grown up and learning to be independent. Sad that my baby is now all grown up and learning to be independent.
Why are there always 2 sides to a coin?!?
